About Us
Women in Secondaries (“WINS”) is a 501(c)6 organization dedicated to promoting, retaining and elevating women within the private equity secondaries market. We host events aimed to create networking opportunities and professional development for our members. WINS is open to women of all experience levels and across strategies including credit and real assets.
The effort began as unofficially in 2018 as our Founder, Christina, noticed an obvious gap in the market. Many of the women in secondaries she began to meet didn’t know each other. Christina planned and organized the first event that year. Word began to spread and interest in participating in future events grew. After hosting several more events, Christina and the rest of the board decided to formally launch a group in late 2019. Since then our membership has grown to over 200 individuals globally.
WINS recognizes the importance of relationships within the industry as well as sponsorship and advocacy by senior market leaders as a key factor for success. Through our events, we look to improve our members’ visibility in the market and help them continue to advance in their careers.

Our Mission
